Kids Towne Children's Ministry

Kids Towne ~ Children's Church follows our Praise & Worship Time lead by the Praise Team.
Nursery, Preschoolers & Elementary Students meet in the Children's Education Building
during the Adult Sermon to have their level of study, fellowship & worship time.

About Kids Towne
With the help of our committed volunteers, Kids Towne Children's Church provides a safe environment where children can enjoy creative learning and experience loving relationships while growing closer to God.
 
In Kids Towne, we believe that learning should be fun, so we create our own dramas, songs and activities. On Sunday's Children will be dismissed following family Praise Time to begin Kids Praise & Worship.

This is where they will learn Bible lessons through creative communications, Sing to the Lord with Music and Movement and build relationships through small group time and team building activities.  These are all age-appropriate, interactive and relevant to today's children.

You and your children are invited to visit Kids Towne during any service, where you will experience our commitment to working with every family in laying a spiritual foundation children can build their lives on.

Join us for a day your children will look forward to every week.

 

Kids Towne is the children's ministry of Towne Lake Community Church, and is also committed to supporting children's ministries in local churches around the world through the Willow Creek Association.

 TLC Kids Towne
"PRAISE & WORSHIP"

What is it?
It’s a program which allows the children to experience the stories of the bible and encourages creativity through puppetry, art, plays, hands on activities, and bible stories that come ALIVE.

Kids will enjoy the Bible through creative  communications and Worship through Songs, Music and Movement.  There are so many different ways to learn about Jesus, that the kids will want to be there every Sunday Morning to see what we will be doing next!

All the staff at TLC and Teachers at Sunday Kids Towne, are truly excited to see this come to light! 

  


 

 

 

Sunday Kids Towne
" Praise & Worship Service"
Each Sunday children will join the Kids Towne Leaders in a Large group for:

*  Sonshine Fellowship (Relationship Building & Celebration) where Children will be able to be recognized and introduced.  Birthdays will be celebrated, the Lesson and scripture memory introduced for the week.

*   Joyful Jamming (Music) that incorporates not only singing and sign language, but will also allow children a chance to express themselves through dance, movement and making joyful noise to the Lord.
* Disciples Den
 (Bible Lessons through Drama, puppetry, special guests, imagination &  creativity)
 Through Creative Communications Bible Lessons, children will have an opportunity to discover God's word by becoming part of the story.  This is also a time for children to come together in groups to build relationships, discuss the Bible Lesson and what is happing in their lives.  Children will learn to pray and have prayer time.

*   The Game of Life
 (Games & Recreation) where kids can be kids, have team building activities and game time that helps bring the lesson & story together through recreation.

KIDS TOWNE KIDS

Imagine raising kids who are growing toward full devotion to Christ, who can meet the challenges their generation faces and be leaders for the Kingdom! Think of a place where children have so much fun learning about how awesome God is that they don't want to miss a single week. Imagine a place where the music is so contemporary and engaging that children leave humming the tunes and singing the words that help them remember biblical truths all week; where video and drama are effectively used to teach this media-driven generation about how to live the Christian life at home, at school and in their neighborhoods. Think of a ministry where children are intentionally shepherded in small groups where they are known and loved; where adult volunteers serve with great joy and passion knowing they are influencing the next generation of Christ's followers.

There are many things that contribute to a thriving, relevant, prevailing children's ministry like the one described above. A child-targeted environment, solid Bible-based relevant teaching, strong leaders, committed volunteers, a clear vision and mission, and core values are a few of those things.

That is the kind of place we, at Towne Lake Community Church, wanted our children's ministry to become. Kids Towne is the result.  That is our vision.
